Europe or USA

There are a couple of reasons for me to consider a MBA program. One of them is that I wanna obtain some overseas work experience before I get back to China again.

Therefore when it comes to making a choice on those business schools, making a choice out of the various business schools is really a headache to me. I wonder whether being admitted by a European Business School is more difficult than being admitted by a USA Business School or whether they are equally of the same difficulty. For example, LBS and Duke, which one is more difficult?

In addition, how about my idea of looking for a job with a MBA degree in Europe? Is it too unrealistic or is it feasible?

If the UK's business schools can represent the Eurepean ones a bit, I would say that being accepted by UK top business school is big easier than their US courterparties. (LBS is the only exception.)  Besides, landing a job in UK is almost impossible for chinese student. I submitted around 20 job applications last Nov (most of them are sent to investment bank, fund management firms, and Corporate Finance department of the big four) and only get a couple interviews. Only one, Ernst Young invite me to the final assessment centre. (I took it on 26/05 and the competition was extremly fierce). Anyway, good luck to you and your school and job hunting.
