请问各位NN，为什么这道题A是错的而E是对的呢？能不能分析一下E的语法结构呢？这道题看了好几遍OG的解释还是没有明白，问同学最后竟然纠缠到were arising 和arose的对错……

考点1： parallalism
simultaneously with 与 independently of 平行，后面的with不能省略，所以CD 排除

考点2：but 表转折，这个句子想表达的是“同时进行但各自独立地”，所以but后面不能加also ，排除B

考点3： effectiveness
sth that be + done 结构 redundant, 应该直接改为 sth + done，排除A

其实A、E是很容易选错的。考点3在OG12 好多题目里面都涉及到的
