想知道为什么C错了，after losing their habitat有什么错吗？

又仔细看了一下，C选项是不是错在“and also”？

上面plants是复数，threat是单数，plants are threat 好像不一致啊

losing their habitat 不够habitat loss简洁，而且their无指代；and和also重复

逻辑主语应该是invasive plants吧。如果改成According to some botanists, invasive plants, after losing their habitat,are the second most serious threat。。。这样就比较清晰了吧

我现在怀疑是不是also冗余了

LZ句子没读懂plants是第二大威胁，第一大威胁是loss of habitat 这都是针对物种和生物保护的威胁
所以C中 their 本应该指代后面的物种，但语法上也可以指代plants 所以指代不明

有lose 有名词 loss 就不要用动名词losing，这个是GMAT的原则，除非有些动词没有相应的名词，像singing, 不得不说 his singing。
