我选的C，正确答案是B。

排除了ADE。在BC之间选，我判断by using 好于 using, 所以扔了B，选C。

请问C选项哪个地方错了，或者说哪点不如B？

错在最后的in上了盖上破折号就成了...a successful grassroots campaign in convincing the Department .....明显不对啊

that has, the verb related to campaign. B is the only choice that fulfills this requriement!

by v-ing的动作使得主句的动作得以发生，放到这句话就是：通过使用Web sites, public meetings, and mass mailings使得这个 campaign得以组织起来，显然表达的意思是不对的。

（1）还是从句子意思出发会好理解
B，that has convinced....表明这样一个动作已经完成，也就是说The industry has organized a campaign 有这么that has convinced...的“结果”和原句的intent 符合
C，IN convincing就表达了The industry has organized a campaign这样一个“目的”
（2）
using....和by using的修饰是有微小差别的

我觉得C在语法和语义上都可行。这里B，C应该都可以，选B应该是从不改变原句intended meaning的角度出发的

说是by doing sth. 是说明 HOW 的，by 后面的内容要说明 how the food industry organizes the campaign.

1.为什么要用 has convinced？前面主语的谓语已经用了 has organized，说明organize这个动作已经发生，逻辑上convince这个动作应该发生在这后，那么为什么也用现在完成时？我认为这一点有些ambiguous，感觉一般现在时态更好？
2. 关于by doing 与doing，只是对于原句的不同逻辑表达。prep08笔记上说doing表示这个活动用到了doing后的三种方式，那为什么我不可以理解成“组织者［利用这三种方式］成功举办了一个活动，这个活动旨在说服。。。。”？
