I agree with izumi08. Based on the fact that mean age of existing accounting faculty is 57 and diminishment of the supply pipeline of new accounting doctoral-degree holders, people from lower-ranked schools still have pretty good chances.
yeah, i agree with you guys; it is just that I do admire the people who can study in the world famous university from my childhood, and I wanna stay wiith the most active people in the world, i mean, the student in the university is the most active people, which is why i wanna become a prefessor. i gotta retake GMAT, and try to apply for 5 schools.
you are right, i checked that the deadline of most of the universities has passed; actually i took a little long to make the decision to apply for PHD.
