除这个问题外，我想弄清which就近修饰的问题:

当which修饰的是the n1 of n2,(the n1 of n2,which)的时候，which是修饰什么呢？是n1还是n2？而当     n1 of n2，n1 in n2的时候，which是修饰哪个名词呢？

例如“the root of rose,which is very dirty”此处which 是修饰root么？

                         “the root in the water,which is very dirty”此处which 又是修饰？
