自由的疑问：B的完成时态，OG里说是没有根据的，可是我对完成时态的无根据这个方面不太明白，究竟什么时候GMAT这个知识点是错的呢？我读这个句子，觉得B挺好的啊！！！另外，D和E，我觉得好象OG不是解释的很到位。THOSE明摆着就是指代那个civilization啊！后面两个地方，当然用THOSE了！我觉得D和E错在AS连接的前后的形式的不对称性，好象分词短语同完整句子不能形成比较吧，THE SAME TIME AS的比较知识点。谢谢大家的指点
1, there must be clear sign that sth happened before sth else when past perfect is employed. but basically, the authors can use present perfect whenever they want. GMAT test takers still need to look for some hints here.
2, 'those' can not replace 'civilizations' as it is not mentioned earlier. only 'civilization' appears. this is testing point. an example would be 'their wines are priced to sell, and they do' -- that's why 'had ' is wrong
