修正后的句子是： Long before it was fashionable to be an expatriate, Josephine Baker made paris her home, and she remained in France during the SecondWorld War as a performer and an intelligence agent for the Resistance.

开头的it 指代 aris 吧？但是有什么语法知识支持这个It 指代Paris.......

开头的 it是 to be an expatriate的形式主语～

还原一下的话就是： Long before to be an expatriate was fashionable,....
