[求助]How to maintain permanent residency in Canada

Saw a post discussing life in Canada so want to ask if anyone knows anything about maintaining the Canadian permanent residency without physically being in Canada.

LG and me got the Canadian Maple card (or called green card in US) two years ago. We are both in the US (both in Biz school PhD program) now and will be for the next few years. In order to keep the Maple card we have to be living in Canada for two years in a five year period, which is obviously difficult for us to do. I heard there are something tricky that we can do to maintain the permanent residency without actually living there but don't know how. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I appologize for any inappropriateness for posting this here in the PhD discussion forum. If anyone knows a better place to post it please also let me know.

We have to live in Canada for a few years (possibly three) before we could apply for citizenship. So that option is out.

We applied for PR of Canada just as a backup. Maybe we shouldn't have, but anyway...
Actually I am about to start this fall at Georgia Tech, major in Strategic management. Kind of liked it while in the MBA program.
LG is in finance. Sadly Georgia Tech will not have finance faculty opening this year.

那么这样你就会给人一个错觉，你一直呆在加拿大（但实际上你在美国）

3 但是加拿大又不傻，那么你需要，有人在加拿大帮你用你的加拿大的信用卡，这样加政府就以为你一直在加拿大了。

这样大概是没有问题的，但是小把戏不可久玩。

Thanks ls for the advice!
We tried that last time, we even flew to seattle to rent a car so the it won't be as strict as flight when crossing boarder. However, we still had the admission stamp on our passport when we drove back to the US. I don't know whether it was because we were landing Canada to complete the immigration process so we did not have the maple card at that time. Have you actually tried that before?
