Thank you for above comments. Now I have some ad/offer so I can say one possibility: I will finishe Chicago M.S in financial Mathematics in one year, followed by a Dartmouth Master of Engineering Management 1.5 years (I defer this ad, so I don't have to reapply). After 2.5 years, I will start to apply J.D. Any ideas and comments? I also have PhD EE fellowship position in Top20 Engineering schools (or even Top5), I just think it's too long to wait 5 years to do something I like (plus Chicago and Dartmouth are also Top5 within their major), though many people will say: solid, it's very solid after then! Plus I don't wanna learn Patent Law, I want to run... One more question: 3 years for a J.D right? P.S: I did not say EE master now because Berkeley rejected my MS EE application so if I wanna MS in EE, I may quit PhD meanwhile to get it. |
