My family and I are in Canada, so I would definitely choose Ivey over UNC. Other than the geographical factor, here are reasons why I think Ivey is a better choice:
1) I prefer 1 yr over 2 yr program, since I already have a business background. Savings on time and money. 2) I intend to spend the most, if not all, of my post-MBA career in China/Asia. So Ivey is one of the better choices, due to its strong focus on global business, especially in Asia, and heavy presence in Asia (a campus in HK and many alumni throughout China) 3) As a result of its increasing popularity and alumni network in China, I believe my future job hunting can be benefited directly. 4) I enjoy the case study method at Ivey. They also use many Chinese business cases.
