两个对立的句子谁能解释一下？OG-174，大全43

今天在网上看到几个贴着，发现对the same 的用法理解不够. 我把它们对比起来，谁能解释一下？

很显然，其它答案有明显错误。可是这个the same as 怎么理解？如果换成that 对不对？

LZM的解释
As作为关系代词
跟在"the same +名词"结构后, 相当于一个定从的引导词. as的先行词为the same修饰的词. 这时候, as 和that可以互换.

A letter by Mark Twain, written in the same year 是时间状语从句，固定搭配the same year that。个人认为如果是as就是两句话的对比。

planting the same crops as are planted: same as固定搭配，不能换成that, 如果用于指代也应该是those----crops

但是，我把大全里面的句子也看成定语从句的话，还是认为用that 而不是those呀？－－如果可以看成定语从句的话。

为了求证，我又查了一下新英汉字典，结果更昏。上面有个句子： he works in th same shop as (或者that) I do. same 也是出现状语词组里面，这回是地点状语。

You use the same pen as I.  <--同一类筆
You use the same pen that I do. <--同一支筆

then we can explain "Daquan#43" => planing the same type of crops.

however,i guess when it refers to the same year, the idiomatic usage must be "the same that"
