What's the difference between the two? thanks. here is an example. can anybody help to explain, pls? thanks

in no.555, Federal Reserve and automobile are different kinds of categories, so we use
"compare .....to...."

in no.558, the former "babies" and latter " babies" are the same categories, so we use
" compare...with..."

what's wrong with that??? would you mention more claer???

1.It is important that后用虚拟语气be, GMAT考美国英语。英国英语should be.
2. It is important that后的比较是，chromosomes of... be compared with those of ...。those 指代chromosomes.
