2: 这个也是我从CD上学的,:

一般名词词组结构为：限定词+前置定语+名词+后置定语。
限定词又分三类：前位限定词，中位限定词，后位限定词。
这些分类也不必太深究，但至少需要记得double, twice等表示倍数的属于前位限定词，而至于经常见到的the, those等冠词则属于中位限定词。当名词需要两类限定词修饰时（如OG此题中），那么原则是前位限定词必须位于中位限定词之前。题目中double the figure for 1977属于名词独立结构。

double the amount/number/size 是固定搭配:
We'll need double this amount for eight people.
The value of the house is double what it was.
It's worth double the amount I paid for it.

3: 我觉得LZ的改法是不对的,应该改为, twice as many as those in 1977.

1. 如果这两个短语判断为名词词组，那么在句子中我觉得应该是同位结构

2. double,twice应该是副词作前位限定语，因为twice只能做副词。

3. OG的解释有提到我原先的修改方法，我个人也比较认同2楼的改法。
