我选了E　觉得E更对称．为什么错呢？spreading of the flame和ignition正对应啊？？

答案选D　是不是错了？？A更对称啊！

1。只是觉得有cause...to do更符合习语，E为何错，大家讨论

2。A主要是and clustered suburban 之间少了for，引起歧义

可以理解为：urban apartment houses including （child-care facilities ） and （clustered suburban houses ）

1是making ignition much easier 和 causing flames to spread两部分的并列，只需要making和causing对称，并不需要每一个词都要对称，D比E简洁，E的spreading变成了名词，罗嗦。

11题讨论过很多次了，你可以搜索下看看前人的解答。A缺少助动词for的补出。

对称不需要词跟词那么严格，大的部分对称既可。
