“，and （完整句子）”的疑惑 OG11th-103，OG11th-104

104，之所以排除DE，就是根据 “____，and ( 完整句子) ”，这一规则好像很多句子都是应验的。

但在103中， “_______，and < at a lower cost> ”就不是完整句子，请问这是为什么？

实在不太明白这个成分做啥用，，谢谢大家指教~~

我觉得,103你说的那个and at a lower cost是省略句,就是按前面的heaiver的那个样子再比较一遍.

104,and连的不是句子,是分词,merging&splitting,但是两个分词又是比较关系,而and不能用来连接对比关系,所以改用rather than/ instead of,后面还有一个考点是as,like的,可以再排除B选C

说到底,我个人认为这2题考的都是比较,搞清楚谁和谁比较是最关键的

104和103考点不同。原句想要表达的逻辑意思最重要。

104看完题目之后，倾向于BC，A中as用错了。DE用and连接，改变了原句的意思和结构。原句中前面一个并列句子，后面ing分词作方式状语。as+句子（SVO）。不是。。而是。。rather than〉〉instead of

这句，尤其是上半句省略，也没有相关连词如and 提示，，真的很头晕，YP解释也只是说省略，我不知其所以然。请教~~

我理解，省略有主语承前省，蒙后省，相应be动词省，不定式to的省略etc。

基本上省去的部分是understood，or没有实际意义的助动词成分的小品词

杨鹏难句是针对阅读的书，拿来做语法参考觉得够呛

6楼的,rather than和 instead of 表示比较的时候,2个有区别?有准确的解释吗?上面那道题我选rather than---是因为后面用 as+clause,所以排除instead of 的

从优先级来说，当然用as+svo排除B.

关于rather than和instead of，至少我到目前不会用语排除法中。只是个preference帮助最后确定正确选项而已。xdf总结gmat中关于二者，有prefer rather than的说法。
