1. There is Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART train) connecting San Francisco International Airport to Berkeley Downtown. I haven't tried this route but I think it could take 45 minutes to 1 hour. There is a shuttle bus taking you from Berkeley downtown BART station to Haas. It would take 15 minutes by walking. 2. Every lecture in the Berkeley PT program can be video-taped and is available online. There is a student commuting from Japan for the Saturday class on every other week. He makes up those missing classes by watching them online. I attended a reception for the entering class. There were people commuting from San Diego, Oregon, and Seattle. 3. Because of its proximity to Silicon Valley, the Berkeley PT program has more engineers. But its overall diversification is okay.
