Cornell AMBA ($15,000) vs. BU HSM MBA ($70,000)

Hi guys,

I am debatig these 2 offers. From bottom of my heart, I know BU is a better overall choice in terms of my career goal and life style (I really hate the location of Cornell and feel more comfortable about BU's curriculum ). But the the reputation and brand name of Cornell is tempting. What do you guys think? Does vanity worth sacrificing my true feeling?

Any insightful thoughts are appreciated.

Definitely you should choose Cornell's accelerated MBA program. You will develop a closer bond with your fellow classmates.

But program size per se, they are quite similar. Both have ~ 40 people.

AMBA is small but after summer term, AMBA students study with all 2nd year MBA students. Also ask them if they can provide contact with current AMBA students. If you feel uncomfortable about 1 year program, check Adcom to see if they can switch you into regular MBA program.

The most important is how the boss thinks if you want to get a salary job after graduate. So I think Cornelle is what the boss is expecting.
