I believe LZ want to do some reality check. Plus it is surprising that nothing about MIT (interview, offer) is posted here on CD. He is not asking for a lecture here.

I'm one too. I think I have some strong background. Rather surprised that I didn't even get an interview.

MIT sucks that it doesn't give you any response and no reasons.

MIT has required those invited not to disclose the interview opportunity receiced. MIT has finished its hub interview on Jan.14 already.

BTW, I didn't receive interview either.
