It depends on how much you love your bf. If you plan to marry him, I suggest you go to UK. If you don't hate doing accounting research, then a PHD is OK. If you don't like being a faculty in the future, then being a housewife is not that bad if your bf/future husband can support your family. It might be hard from the begining..
I suggest you work firstly to see whether you like your job. If you do, stay in China and wait for your bf to come back. If you don't, you try to apply UK PhD or go to UK after marrying with your bf.
In my opinion, staying at home to be a housewife wastes your time and money. Moreover, you will become very upset and lonely when your husband is busy at doing research but you have much spare time, leading to a dispute finally.
1. if your BF does not take your career plan and your personal interest into account before making his own career decisions, I personally suggest you walk away from such a guy who is not loaded with sense of responsibility in a reasonable scale
2. going for PhD means your commitment to the research activities in the following four or five years or even longer period of time. so, do not risk your future on the silly idea that it will be easier to get financial aid if enrolled in a PhD program
