山衔落日请指教！ 口语一般几句话？

前面我复习准备的时候，情况好的话，一般5到6句。可是现在发现问题，前几天买了新东方的远程TOEFL在线模考试题，60元/套，一共四套，现在做了一套，它里面给的sample很长啊，天哪，放录音，人家确实是45秒说完的。

比如：问题Many students who are starting their college or university education take a sampling of many different courses in their first year, and decide what area of study to pursue based on their experiences in those courses. Others have a clear idea of what they want to study before they begin their schooling. Which approach best describes you and why did you choose to approach your studies in this way?

sample：

When I decided to start my university education, I had a very clear idea of what I wanted to study. When I graduated from high school, I did not know if I wanted to go to university at all, and I definitely didn’t have a good idea of what I wanted to study. So instead of enrolling in university and trying out a few different courses to see what I liked, I decided to wait. I traveled and worked at a variety of jobs for two years, and over this time I developed a better idea of what I wanted to do. I volunteered at a legal services office, because I knew I had an interest in law. This helped me make my decision to start my university education and pursue a law degree. I chose to approach my studies in this way mainly because university is expensive and I didn’t want to spend money on courses that I might not need for my degree. I wanted to wait until I had a very clear idea of what I wanted to do, and then pursue that goal in an efficient manner.

这个sample，我照着念，45秒也只能念一半，还有些打舌头，天哪，怎么办啊，高人请指点！！
