good questions, Lily. 1, u can not choose D, neither can u choose A or E. the reason is ADVISED is parallel to INTERROGATED. If there were another "WAS", it would be absolutely wrong as there is one before ADVISED. 2, the THAT cannot be omitted in objective clause, generally. but really, u don't want to choose C.
