EE+mba or EE+JD?

Hi,

I'm currently 29 and I've been working as an electrical engineer for 6 years. I'm considering going back to school to get either an MBA or JD. Right now I'm leaning towards getting a JD and try to be a patent attorney.

In a few years, I want to move back to China due to family reasons. I'm wondering if I have a JD from the US, what kind of jobs can I get in China? Do I need more credentials to practice law in China?

And also, in China, is it better to be EE+mba or EE+JD?

I always believe that you can achieve a lot only when the passion is there.

so, leave the money and your future residence out of the picture and think about whether you love business or legal stuff
