这是xbzg提出的问题，我认为答案是错的，原因有：
（1）after 是adv，是可以修饰when的；
（2）c中，after 是介词，但是后面的说法太罗嗦不好，并且使用了support的名词；
（3）b用的是动词形式，主动语态，所以我大胆认为东方的答案是错的。

这题是OG124中的,新东方的答案是对的.

OG的解释如下:
In choices A and B, after when is unidiomatic: one word or the other can be used to establish temporal sequence, but not both together. In D, the phrase at the time after is awkward and temporally confusing; moreover, the present tense develops is used incorrectly to describe action completed in the past. In E, the construction after there being... support is ungrammatical. Choice C, grammatical and idiomatic, is the best answer.

我觉的after+when意思重复，这个错误比较严重。

你的问题：（1）after 是adv，是可以修饰when的；
这里的after+n 的作用也是做时间状语的。when从句也是做时间状语。两者都对。但是after when+从句就不对了！（1）不简洁（2）逻辑上混乱。到底是在when那个时候啊？？还是在when之后啊？？
         （2）c中，after 是介词，但是后面的说法太罗嗦不好，并且使用了support的名词；
after+n做时间状语很简洁啊！有名词就不用从句，这是简洁的要求啊！
         （3）b用的是动词形式，主动语态，所以我大胆认为东方的答案是错的。
主被动只是一个参考，是我们在做题的时候总结出来的经验。在有主动的时候，并且表达正确的情况下我们可以不看被动的。但是如果主动不对就不能死抠着这个原则了。毕竟这个原则只能保证95%的正确率啊？那还有5%呢？？

答案是C，为什么？

窃以为，张兄犯了与偶前几日同样的错误才导致上述问题：c选项的"by Harry Truman"在此多余，删除后就明白为何c对了。按XDF给出的题目，No choice is right.
