答案说是A，可是A很明显比较不对称阿。
larger后面是populations of pesticides-degrading microbes in soils...
而than后面是in the soils...
怎么也得是those in the soils吧
请教诸位大侠，是否我对比较对称结构的理解太过偏激了？

答案是A，可是这里的aimed用的是否有些牵强呢，用aiming表示进行的状态也可以说的通阿？
这一类-ing和-ed的取舍我总是做不好，摸不清楚ets的思路，请问NN们有什么窍门么？

[populations of pesticide-degrading microbes in soils with a relatively long history of pesticide use] are much larger than in soils that are free of such chemicals. 补出THOSE的确更清楚，但是没有也不能说错。而且A是最优选项。

396、感觉此题主要是从简洁性出发，E，是SB USED STH TO DO STH很好的形式，而D不如E简洁，而且使用了被动语态。比较来看E更优些。

696、这要看具体的句子情况，偶认为这里AIM的动作POLICY不能自己发出，而是被AIMED，主要是看是否可以发出动作来判断。当然如果实在觉得有二意性，通过其他地方也可以判断出，例如此题通过平行结构应该可以得出结果。

但我觉得396中d虽然用了被动，而且有些罗嗦，但是从对称的角度上来说，d还是优于e的。而且很多其他的题目，ets不都是宁可显得罗嗦，也要保持句子绝对的工整性的么？

是呀，挺无奈的，关键它有时在其他题目的选项中可能有别的错误。但这道题的D用被动语态的意思也不是很舒服，感觉意思挺别扭。their steers 怎么自己去获得什么东西？
