关于转学的学费问题

假如被北美某学校录取后,人到了美国,交了学费.之后考到了另一所牛校.这样转走的话,原学校会退学费吗?

学费是一个学期一个学期交的，不会让你一下子全交完，有的学校是一门课一门课交的。你交了这个学期的课了，通常来说，有个DROP DEADLINE，就是说你有权利选择读或不读这门课，如果你在规定的时间前DROP了，就退学费，如果在之后DROP了，一分钱都没得退。而这个时间通常是开学后10-20天内。基本上这么短的时间不够你去申请大牛校吧。

也就是说如果只读一个学期的话,这种方法完全可行?

I think it will be difficult. 1. You will have to explain your rationale for switching school. 2. You will have to make a significant improvement during that year to get into the other school. 3. It'd be a waste of your time/money and the first school's resource.

Why don't you try to postpone the first offer for a year and then apply for the second school while you gain more working experience?
