Try to respect the rules set by school. If you can not follow the rules now, how can others expect you follow the rules in business world. Try to compete with other candidates on a fair arena.

建议不要超字数，或者说，一定不要超字数，这是规则，同样，字数不能太少，个人理解，不能比要求的字数少过20个字，这就是精确。

一般来说大于，小于50字内。其实写文章不要罗索，直击要点，400字应该是够的。

Same question, I asked MBA office last year.The answer is the upper limit can be around 600, though i was slightly over paged.

个人觉得最好不要超过500，如果你的作文要求400的话，字数不是大的问题，关鍵要切中核心。
