怎样判断是否提交MIT的Supplemental Information

各位牛人和有经验者请指教

1。MIT的Supplemental Information真的是作为optiaonal information来考虑的吗？

2。有什么样的业绩才有必要写Supplemental Information？

还没有，不过可以想象的到他们的Offical answer

比如 ”tell us anything if you feel that material will enhance our impression of you as a unique individual.”

但比如Leadership activities 这一项，我不知是否我提供的资料是否很impressive, 如果被认为不是很unique, 我担心有negative 的效果。 

1. You should ask the school that.

2. At the end of the day, it's your call.  Put in whatever will help strengthen your application or explain away some weakness but don't put in redundant or unncessary information.  Good luck!

thanks so lot. already got the idea what i should mention in the optional essay. 

going to add some information about my unusual experience in University. that will

also explain the low GPA in the 2nd year. but i still hate to focus on the excuse,

since writting an essay that way will show you a "small person: too care about something that not really mean most to you, neither to sloan".   anyway, there only few days left for me, hard schedule to write a persuasive one, but i will try my best, from now on.
