我的问题是，改后的句子：
The five hundred largest manufacturing firms in the United States produce goods worth almost as much as those of the remaining four hundred thousand firms.
produce和worth连着用了，不算run-on sentence吗？

还有一个问题就是我每次从 .doc文件上复制过来的题，为什么大写字母都变成小写了？比如这句前面的The，我把原来的删掉了重新敲的，结果还是不行。
开头字母不大写，我自己看着都不爽。

我也遇到过同样的问题，好象是网页的问题。
但好象不永远这样。
不知如何避免？

worth只有介词和名词两种词性，哪儿来的动词词性？我的语法基础很差，大家见笑了。
