is是多出来的

想請問一下, a Clean Air Act at least as strong as和 at least as srong a Clean Air Act as有什麼不同呢?

我實在已經頭暈暈了....

我可以了解(c)選項之原句為In a recent poll, 86 percent of the public favored a Clean Air act at least

as strong as 86 percent of the public favored the present act.

其中a Clean Air act 和the present act均為受詞, 相互比較.

但是我不懂(c)要如何還原成原句, 且是誰和誰在比呢??

可否請版主在詳細說明??

I don't think your 還原 is correct. In fact, this sentence is just a simple one, there is no such issue as 還原 here. Don't give yourself too much headache.

查到了gonghao版主之前的帖子：

at least 是修饰 as strong as 吧
我知道at least 是修饰的strong这样才正确
但是
正因为根据就近的原则；在把a Clean Air Act 拿出来以后变成at least a Clean Air Act as strong as is看上去是at least是修饰的a Clean Air Act，所以白勇才那样还原
但大家都知道不是这样修饰的
所以就排除了那个选项

不过看完后还是很纠结，在别处找到这样一句回复，觉得更有助于理解，供参考：

the public favored a Clean Air Act at least as strong as (they favored) the present act. 主谓省略！

因此，B/C中的is可以直接被drop掉，而省去纠结的“白勇还原原句”~~
也因此，E选项是没有疑问的正确选项。
