We encourage all applicants to:

Apply early - Completing the MBA application process early serves multiple purposes. Most importantly, it ensures that you will receive a timely response from the admissions committee.

Research the program thoroughly - Have a strong understanding of why Goizueta Business School is a good fit for you and how an MBA will prepare you to meet future career objectives. Look at our detailed viewbook (download our viewbook here or have one mailed to your home.) and see if the curriculum matches your future goals.

Visit the school - Arrange to attend an MBA class, go to lunch with current students, and tour the business school facility.

Candidate Requirements

Have several years of full-time work experience (Average: 5+)

Possess strong undergraduate academic records with a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

Solid quantitative or analytical foundations

One semester of college-level statistics prior to matriculation

Application Checklist
1. Completed and signed application form (online application also available)
2. Transcripts from ALL undergraduate and graduate schools attended
3. GMAT scores (Average GPA: 3.4; Middle 80% GMAT range: 640 - 730; Average GMAT: 675)
4. TOEFL scores for applicable international students
5. Two letters of recommendation
6. Essays
7. A $125 non-refundable fee. If you apply online, there will be an additional $15 processing fee

Interviews are strongly encouraged as part of the application process. 100% of the Full-Time Class of 2005 completed an interview. To arrange for an interview, please contact us at 404-727-6311. Interviews may take place on campus, at an event in a city near you or, in select cases, over the telephone.

Additional Requirements for International Students

Goizueta Business School encourages international applicants and welcomes the different perspectives of students who have conducted business abroad. International candidates must also:

1. Have strong English language communication skills, both written and spoken
2. Take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) if your native language is not English
3. Have a score of 250 or higher on the TOEFL (600 for the paper based test)

The TOEFL may be waived if:
1. Candidates have spent at least 3 years in the U.S. working toward completion of an undergraduate degree or have completed a graduate degree followed by at least 2 years of work in the U.S.
2. Candidates are from countries where: their junior high school (equal to 7th and 8th grade in the U.S.) and high school education is in English; their full university education is in English; and commerce in their country is generally conducted in English. (Examples of such countries include: the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, India, Ghana, Nigeria and Uganda.)
