123. Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? People should read only those books that are about real events, real people, and established facts. Use specific reasons and details to support your opinion.
自己改正了一下，如下。请各位看看还有没有什么不足。
We all read a lot of books in our daily life. It is crucial for us to choose good and right books to read because people are influenced considerately by the books they like to read. But what kinds of books should people read in their spear time? When facing the question, many people feel that the sorts of books people should read are those about real events, real people and established facts. In fact, I think that people should read these kinds of books for the books are good for people to get some real information about our lives. However, I disagree with the opinion. I believe people should read various kinds of books they are interested in. I will prove my argument in the following.
To begin with, I agree that it is good and useful for people to read some books relevant to real events and real life. People can have knowledge of the real world when reading these books. For example, people can know about real history from history books. In addition, people can absorb different cultures and opinions inside the books. Therefore, reading those kinds of books is necessary for people.
Next, it is also helpful for people to read some books differing from our real lives. People also can read some fiction or imaginary story books in leisure time. If a person is interested in reading some fictions, he should just read these books for his interesting. Accordingly, people can read any kinds of books they love to read because people are reading for fun sometimes.
Last but not least, reading some books about unreal events can enhance people’s imagination. One famous and great scientist Einstein said that imagination is far more important than knowledge. When people put their spare time to read some fictional or imaginary books, they can learn something new or lots of fresh conception from the books. Some scientists bring out the great science perception originating from the scientific fictions they read in childhood. Consequently, people should read what they love to read.
In conclusion, all kinds of books have their own value for people to read. If people can get something useful and funny from the books, they should go to read the books. Furthermore, people ought to gain diversification of lore and information by reading large varieties of books. In my view, reading is not only to gain knowledge but also for entertainment. |
