In both D and E, the use of the participle reducing rather than the noun reduction is awkward.

我想问既然SB' DOING STH 如同大全507 是存在的，那D,E这种表达方法在OG66中对吗？解释中说AWKWARD是什么意思？是这种表达不能做主语还是这种表达方法是正确的，只是在这不合适？

还有动名词，分词的区分好像都晕了！！

mm，在考试里面，如果用到一个意思的名词形式，有专门的，就不用ing分词，比如reduction 。

og66选的是a吧。考察的是both and。

我们做题目的时候，就用最能肯定的标志排出。答案没有标准的，只是说，比其他的要好。

mmmmm...的确让人头疼，如果仔细看还是不叫容易答题，但是考场上就不一定了

关键还是要理解逻辑意思

这两道题目反映考点，都是要选出'S得修饰对象，都是抽象词，第一题不是scholar,是catogorize,第二题目不是rate是reduction.

再区别正确答案categorize / reduction, 一个是名词一个是动词。我想相同情况下，名词优于doing，that’s why we choose reduction rather than reducing; if there is no perfect wording , then 逻辑意思最重要，that’s why we choose categorize rather than scholar
