To edwardjzz: As fas as I know, all admits are interviewed. Those who do not get the interview invitation will get the deny letter one month before the decision date.
To bonbon_jovial and yangsh: Personaly, I feel that the interview doesn't have much weight in Chicago's decision process. I took my interview with a nice alumnus in Shenzhen and the interview went smoothly. In the end, we spent ten minutes chating about China history and culture, hehe.
Some experience to share:
1. Most questions are commond ones, the only one I found a bit strange was " are you a risk taker?". I think the most important is to convince the interviewer that you really fell for Chicago.
2. Create a good atmosphere is more important than what you actually say. Try to have a engaging conversation, instead of a boring Q&A.
3. Be flexible during the interview. The interview may not carry on as you prepared. For example, the interviewer asked me directly about why Chicago, without asking my career goal and why MBA. However, I must find a chance to provide the information.
4. Write down several points that you want to emphasize. If you are not asked about those points, bring them up before the interview finishes |
