自己是做对了，答案是B，但是当时在B和D中间纠结了一会儿。
不考虑结构平行的关系，有没有大神能从语法结构层面解答一下为什么

“self-deprivation or the adoption of an extreme diet, but of” 这里的 ”or“ 之后为什么不需要加 ”of"
完整的句子是不是应该是“self-deprivation or OF the adoption of an extreme diet, but of“

or后面不应该加of呀，that后面从句的结构是 a result not of ...., but of ...
not...but...这种封闭式平行前后的平行形式要一致，所以后面的but要加上of。
至于or后面，你要看句意（毕竟句意为王），可持续的减肥不是靠自我抑制或极端节食的方法，而是靠融合了平衡膳食的健康生活方式的方法，这句是两者之间的平行，然后self-deprivation or the adoption of an extreme diet是大平行里面的小平行
如果按你的想法，结构式a result of A, or of B, but of C. 这是不对的。我记得prep语法笔记里面讲过，but只用作连接两者：A, B, but C一定错，A, or B, but C也不对
