正确答案是E，我选的是D。

我认为 erosion、movement和activity是并列的，三个原因让金子唾手可得。为什么正确答案给的是E呢？“ancient, gold-bearing riverbeds thrust to the surface ”不算一个从句么？

1.首先D 中没有谓语动词了，这是致命的错误
2. （ancient，gold-bearing ）riverbeds （thrust to the surface）括号内为修饰成分。这里要注意 adj, adj +noun 的用法，两个形容词修饰一个名词，可以用逗号隔开

非常感谢，句子一长就总是看漏。D没有谓语确实是我的眼拙疏忽了。原来thrust的过去式也是thrust，这样谜题就解开了。
