在Ron的笔记当中 关于划线句子的解释是:
“led to passing” --not idiomatic
comma+ING modifier is not used correctly (comma+"allowing") -- this needs to modify the preceding ACTION (led to the...). That doesn't make sense here.
以上是Ron的解释,根据之前Ron 笔记上关于comma+v-ing的用法: comma+v-ing modifiers must be closely related to the preceding clause. 我的理解是comma+ing modifiers应该在句意逻辑上和前面的句子保持一致。在这道题目里”通过这个法案允许公司去寻求赔偿“我认为是符合逻辑的,为什么Ron给出的解释是doesn't make sense?
