conditional offer有个条件看不大懂，请各位赐教！！！

昨天收到伯明翰的一个有条件OFFER，其中有个条件要求如下。之前我在申请时，已经将成绩单，毕业证，学位证的原件，翻译件都提交上传啦，为什么学校的条件里还要求我再次提交，另外我已经工作7年了。请各位有经验的朋友帮我解答一下，他的这个条件是什么意思，非常感谢！！

Please provide certified copies of your Transcript; Degree Certificate and Graduation Certificate to confirm that you have been awarded your degree with the required grade. If these documents do not state a final grade average then you must provide an additional certified statement from your institution to confirm this.

学校要对你的成绩单及证件原件进行审查，这个条目的前面应该是让你入学的时候带过去或者由你原来的学校直接寄过去（不论是带过去，还是寄过去，都需要用学校官方档案袋密封并加盖公章，以确保成绩的真实有效性）。

certified copies就是公证件啦。把公证件寄给他们就好了，毕竟上传的文件，学校会质疑真实性的。

公证件去哪里搞？去原学校开吗？

一般公证是去各个区的公证处的，大概3到4个工作日就可以了。
学校可以开的是密封件，在有些地方也认密封件，就是有学校封印的信封啦。但是不是所有国家都承认的。
如果光是certificated document，应该理解为公证件。去公证处公证下，可以选中英文的。公证处会给你一个密封公证后的文件，尽量不要打开，因为有些地方不让打开的，有些地方认。直接寄给学校就好啦。

雅思的成绩是报名的时候就要选学校的。不是考试时候选的，这个和gmat不一样，否则后面再寄的话，还要收费的。注意下这个就好了。

这段话里面没有规定时间，即你给他们提供成绩单及毕业证学位证的时间，关于这方面，我的理解是你可以带着等入学的时候给他们即可（成绩单由学校盖公章原件，档案袋密封）。我之所以这样理解是因为我之前在美国伊利诺伊被录取时，他们给我的要求，和你遇到的情况一样。至于需不需要再找公证机构公证，我没觉得这个邮件是问你一定要外面机构公证。邮件字面意思是“你原来学校确认的成绩单和证件”。所以简单的方法是直接给这个学校打电话好了，问清楚。顺便说一下：最后让你RESPOND的意思是让你打一部分定金，表示你接受这个OFFER，并愿意去这个学校，否则学校被放鸽子，开学时教室空空的，也很郁闷的。。。
