一个挺老的题，有一个问题想请教各位NN

prep08笔记里说这里的them没有指代，这我完全同意，但是我当时排除答案的时候我是觉得这里的its可能有指代的歧义：a confidentiality agreement，the company

从逻辑上讲its肯定是指代company但是从语法上讲会不会产生歧义呢？

指代有歧異並不是絕對錯誤
關於代名詞,只有“沒有東西可指代”才是絕對錯誤

这里五个选项不是都用的its 吗

如果有一个选项是说 the company's water purification, 那就比its要准确，重点在于split

前后的时态是否一样是要看context

这里Research indicate that they have reduced and are not making 明显不合理吧。

相比之下E选项就很清楚的描述了indicate的内容， they have not reduced or made, 说的是对现在的影响，并不是说他们正在making啊。

恩恩~我明白白如果从句意上这个进行时在后面肯定是逻辑上不行
我想请教NN的是：但是假如撇去句意来说的话，这种进行时和现完在and前后是可以的吗？

额，所有的语法结构都要在句意的基础上来分析。我只能说并列结构不要求前后的时态一致。但是造这种例句是超出我的能力范围了。

我在OG里找了一句，OG17，683

The Life and Casualty Company hopes that by increasing its environmental fund reserves to $1.2 billion, it has set aside enough to pay for environmental claims and will no longer have to use its profits and capital to pay those claims bit by bit,year by year.

SC的关键还是分析句意和区别选项，抛开官方题目的问题我觉得其实都没有太大意义。
