Hey there,
So you are right that although UCLA is not a top 10 school it is very competitive because of the location especially. A 690 used to be good enough for UCLA, but now it’s borderline. So yes, if you feel like you can get a higher score on the GMAT you should definitely go ahead and give it a shot.

I would need more detail about you and your experience to advise you further though:
What Phd did you get?
From where?
What industry do you want to move to?
Where did you work? for how long?
What achievements do you have?
What leadership?

LZ能否考GRE呢。考GRE换算过去比考GMAT合算。可以问下AO相关的换算。
