D. analysts’ predicting
E. analysts’ predictions
答案是E 我之所以没选是因为原句看意思只有一个prediction，E却用了复数。别处的解释是one’s doing是错误的所以D为什么不行啊。。one's doing真的不能做定语从句的先行词吗？

这个就是考查名词和动名词短语的区别了。。和“personal computer industry continued to show strong growth”对比的，是分析师预言的内容，而不是分析师们做出预言这个行为，所以应该用名词短语来表达。

我是这样觉得的，你不要太在意定从之前用什么，因为Manhattan也没有讲过这些。
你要做的思维是比较predictions 和predicting的区别，
predictions的语意是根据他们去年的预测，而ing是表达去年这个时候他们正在预测。。
个人的意见。。
