acct fin econ之phd的职业发展

楼主小白，有个小小的问题，就是accounting finance econ PhD出来以后除了academia以外还有什么别的发展路径吗~~看到acct和运筹的phd最近好像很火爆诶~

econ phd has many options. you can check the job placements of some schools and get a sense where the phds end up going. finance can go to academia and industry, with most prefer to stay in academia. most of acct phds stay in academia.

非常非常感谢！我是在纠结是读acct硕士还是去继续读PhD，top acct master之后申请fin或者econ phd的可能性大嘛？还是直接就业的好呀？

谢谢你哈！我也是在纠结，是读acct硕士还是去继续读PhD，top acct master之后申请fin或者econ phd的可能性大嘛？

it is possible to get into fin or econ phd with acct master, but no one does that.

if you want to get a job and enjoy corporate life then do acct master. If you want to be a poor phd for the next 6 years then do fin or econ phd, but fin phd has better propects than econ phd generally speaking. But again, it all depends what program you are able to get into.
