AGSM's Business Ph.D.Providing business students with another avenue for pursuing their business education, the Ph.D. program combines UCR's tradition as a major research university with AGSM's strengths of leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Inland Southern California, a living laboratory that explores the meaning of growth in today's complex marketplace. About the ProgramThe Ph.D. program at UCR fills a growing demand for doctoral students in management in the UC system. It is an academic program that provides candidates with the chance to do intensive research in the field of business. The Ph.D. program trains graduate students in the design and execution of original research in management. Major fields to concentrate in are Marketing, Finance, and Strategic Management and Organizations. The program will soon offer concentrations in Operations and Accounting. For the 17/18 academic year, we are only accepting applications for the Finance concentration. Financial AidUCR offers a variety of multi-year fellowship packages for incoming students that may include stipends, full or partial payment of tuition and fees, and appointment as a Teaching Assistant (TA) or Graduate Student Researcher (GSR). Ph.D. applicants must complete the Supplemental Fellowship Form included as an optional form in the UCR Graduate Application for Admission. This form will be reviewed as part of your submitted graduate application.
