如题. I live in what is called a hell. 是宾语从句,what在从句中作主语,可以改成
I live in where is called a hell吗？如果可以,这又是什么从句？where作什么成分,谢谢NN

不能用where, where= in which, 前面已经有介词in了，而且楼主那句没有先行词了。

可以改成 I live in a place that/which is called a hell. 这个是限制性定语从句，that/which作从句的主语，且that/which可以省略，即可以简化为I live in a place called a hell。

可以改成 I live in a p ...

所以就是无先行词,直接做宾语的宾语从句，不能用where,只能用what.
你看这是og原句：in which great ice sheets existed in what are now temperate areas.

但是请看, where to go is a problem. I want to go where I can find my mom. 这里的主语宾语都可以用 where,这是错误的吗？
