有一个其中要辨别as a way to do sth.. Vs. as a way of doing sth

到底是as a way to do something,还是 as a way of doing something，那个是idiomatic的呢？

Both are correct. Because they are of slightly different meanings, which one should be used is really depending on the context at the time.

However I'm not sure the whole context.
I think the correct one might be "use N to V" since it's more concise.
