费费-79引起的困惑---误选“支持“当”假设“？

    小弟在做79题时，发现A， C， D三选项都可以导出结论， 当然看到E时， 觉得E肯定为答案。 可还是很困惑如何鉴别 “支持“ 选项和 ”假设“选项”？

这是ASSUMPTION类的问题， 由于你没有贴出整个题目， 所以我不太清楚你的问题到底是什么。

但对于这类题目类型， 最好的办法(也是唯一的办法)就是将答案取非, 取非后削弱原来的ARGUMENT就是正确答案。如果你感觉答案有支持的作用，用这样的办法完全可以排除其干扰.

题目里先说出两个可能使death rate double的原因，接着排出了这两个原因，

然后就得出，一定是第三个原因使得death rate double。

分析：

1、排出了2个，就能肯定是第3个，就说明前提假设是只有3个原因。因此 E 正确

2、你选择C，但是这个假设放入原题，只能得出bronchial inhalers可能导致death rate double，但不是除前2个原因之外的唯一一个原因，也就不能得出结论（death rate double 一定是由于试用inhalers）

I think the reason that answer E is correct is because this is a "Justify the conclusion" question, but not an Assumption. The main difference between the two, according the powerscore bible,is that the correct answer in justify is a sufficient condition, but a necessary condition for assumption. So if you add E to the stimulus, you can conclude while all other factors are not the cause, it must be the inhalers. You can't negate this answer choice to disprove the conclution, becuase you can't negate the sufficient to disprove the necessary, it is called Mistaken Negation.
