我的疑问是为什么B中会用had  reduced？  按照顺序的话不是应该先block再reduce吗？
这样的话不应是是block用过去完成时吗？？  这道题一点头绪都没有。。求大侠解答

另外og说 A选项的migrations up their spawning streams 这种表达是错的，为什么？我的理解是，up their spawning streams修饰migrations，这样不可以？

还有个问题为什么是less than 3 million pounds，胖子不可数吗？

就用的fewer..

好吧写到这里才想到3million胖子是看成一个整体来理解，所以用less than，贴出去给需要帮助的同学吧！

我的理解是AD项 shad migrations (up their spawning streams 作修饰语）问题在于their 指代不清。此外A项本身也出现了现在时态，错，D、E项的分词，其前未用逗号隔开，修饰并不明确，错。
剩下B、C项的比较，区别在于一个动词时态，一个单复数，用的非常活。个人感觉OG为了语义又一次敲碎了我的三观。。。
正常情况下存在动作的前后发生时间比较，应该是 that had blocked shad...reduced..,但是现在BC都不符合习惯，那么我们看后面的landings to a lower amount/less,无论是amount还是less都说明此处landings表示不可数概念，两种表达都可，取更为简洁的B项。
也就是说B项的时态是可以被接受的，尝试解释：that引导的blocked起修饰作用表示一个发生在过去的事实，而by 也暗示我们主句的reduce要表示已经完成的语气，故用过去完成时，并不强调block和reduce发生先后顺序，可能reduce和未展示的下文语义上构成前后比较（who knows?向OG发射一串问号）另外我好像也见过OG有题since,by没用完成时态的
所以依据时态此题应该是答不出来只能依靠后面less更简洁了。。

用less是因为前面是more than 后面less than更好看
