Q:100 Some people think that governments should spend as much money as possible on developing or buying computer technology. Other people disagree and think that this money should be spent on more basic needs. Which one of these opinions do you agree with? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.

As for as I am concerned, new computer technology has cost too much of the government’s income, however, the management institutions of our city or country is supposed to focus on people’s most essential needs. To support my statement, there are several reasons I intend to explain:

There are millions of hundreds of people are homeless of suffering starvation. They really need assistance. If government has considerable money to spend on the research of new computer technology, it would be easier for us to obtain adequate money supply to the needy to get rid of unemployment. Government should draw up a plan which is content how to help the homeless back to their own hometown and how to help them finding proper jobs. Comparing with doing time and money consuming research of new computer technology, it is a better way to take advantages of the money.

In addition to unemployment and starvation, pollution is also a main problem which is torturing the developing country for quite a long time. We should concentrate on how to “repair” this planet which is indispensable to our existent rather than use money aimlessly. Year after year, the greenhouse effect is becoming increasingly apparent, it means human beings are going to suffer the severe consequences; numerous creatures are going to encounter their extinction. Therefore, the government should have made out a plan to cope with all sorts of pollution.

Not only the homeless and pollution need to be invest a considerable sum of money, but also our ordinary people. In many countries, including our own country, there are a great deal of problems in sanitation and education system which are require solution in a fairly hurry. In my opinion, we should, without any hesitation, use more money to make citizens enjoy better and healthier lives .

Admittedly, the discussion mentioned above needs new computer technology to solve. Computer can assistant government making a list of people who need to take care , to some certain extent, it still can make up programs to prevent pollution and illness from human beings. Only if government takes its people in mind and can deals with all the basic need, the computer issue is of great importance as well.

The improvement in Health-care and House-fund system is the most significantly crucial for our governments to focus on. The more we spend money on it, the stable our society. In village, for lacking money, farmers can not erect enough infrastructure such water-power station, electric-power station to increase performance, outcome, and profits; as that result, families living in remote areas still strive for starvation and poor.
