会计phd求定位

本人香港理工大学会计与金融本科，GPA 3.94，GMAT790+5.5，托福114(speaking 28)

没有会计论文发表 也没什么相关研究经历。唯一的就是申请香港的Phd需要交research proposal所以看了不少paper,完成了一篇proposal,下学期可能会帮dean去做research assistant但具体细节还在商讨中。我有希望弄到学校一正教授的推荐信，他是American Accounting Association的Vice president-international,在contemporary accounting research和journal of accounting and economics上发表过paper，只是他跟我完全不熟不知道会写成什么样。。。。因为学校目标是培养学生进四大，所以对数学也不重视，本科只修过两个很简单的数学课，不过都得了A+。

你的定位当然是top 30,然后top50选一些保底。建议你多找本学校老师谈

someone in your school got some top5 offers before,  but has perfect scores, US exchange, some advanced math courses.
Anyway, your minimum will be around 30.

Thank you so much! Everyone in my department knows this guy. He got an offer from Chicago. Actually, he took a minor in maths, that's why he has taken some advanced math courses. Obviously, Chicago is far beyond my reach. Will USC and MSU be realistic for me?

MSU你肯定over qualify了
emory很喜欢你这样的小本。他家只要成绩好的本科生
感觉越好的学校越喜欢你这种背景，但是一定要有很好的推荐信

多谢大家了~推荐信很头大啊，系里从dean到assistant professor各个忙的要死，USC 12月1号就要截止了，有个推荐人到现在还没开始帮我填推荐表，就剩下周一一天时间了，估计也不可能认真填了。正教授估计就是让小蜜给我随便乱填一下。10-20的学校请问大家有没有什么建议，top10的就算了不去浪费时间了。。

楼主你好，我也申USC，想问一下你的essay是怎么处理的呢？是直接一篇里面糅合了两个问题的答案呢？还是拆成两篇，分别对应两个问题发的呢？

我是写成两篇摆一个文档里了，我想问下你知道financing那里怎么填吗？他说选marshall fellowship作为source of funds,那么还需不需要填个人和家里人的funds,还有amount我也不知道怎么填。。。
