不会阿，两者意思是不一样的啊。一定还有其他原因才不选c的

我认为是Ｃ的对应关系有问题：

The distribution of mass within the core of the Earth                       that of the mantle surrounding the core

句中the distribution和that对应，mass和the mantle对应，显然mass\mantle的对应是不成立的，地幔应该和地球核心对应。
